But What Did God Say?

There are moments in life when the weight feels unbearable.

When the silence in your heart is so loud, and your soul aches for answers you can’t seem to find.

When you feel worthless and low, and the enemy whispers lies that you’ll never be enough.

But what did God say?

“You are fearfully and wonderfully made.” (Psalm 139:14)

“You are my masterpiece, created for good works.” (Ephesians 2:10)

When your heart is breaking and the pain feels like it will never stop, when grief knocks the wind out of you…

But what did God say?

“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” (Psalm 34:18)

“I will give you beauty for ashes and joy for mourning.” (Isaiah 61:3)

When your finances look hopeless and you have no idea how you’ll pay your next bill, your rent, or your mortgage…

But what did God say?

“My God shall supply all your needs according to His riches in glory.” (Philippians 4:19)

“The Lord is my Shepherd; I lack nothing.” (Psalm 23:1)

When you feel stuck, like nothing is changing, and you’re tempted to turn back to the familiar because at least it feels safe…

But what did God say?

“Behold, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?” (Isaiah 43:19)

“Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past.” (Isaiah 43:18)

When you’ve been waiting for so long that hope feels like a distant memory…

But what did God say?

“Though it tarry, wait for it; it will surely come and will not delay.” (Habakkuk 2:3)

“Those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength.” (Isaiah 40:31)

When you see a family member hurting and you don’t know how to help…

But what did God say?

“Cast all your cares on Him because He cares for you.” (1 Peter 5:7)

“The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.” (James 5:16)

When addiction is still real, and the struggle feels endless…

But what did God say?

“Whom the Son sets free is free indeed.” (John 8:36)

“I have come that they may have life, and have it more abundantly.” (John 10:10)

When you’re asking, “Where is my healing, Lord?”

But what did God say?

“By His stripes, you are healed.” (Isaiah 53:5)

“I am the Lord who heals you.” (Exodus 15:26)

Life will throw its lies, fears, and discouragement at you.

The enemy will whisper, “It will never change.”

Your emotions will scream, “Give up.”

But in every situation, there is one unchanging truth: What God says always stands.

No matter what you see.

No matter what you feel.

No matter how long it takes.

The question is: Will you believe what you see… or will you believe what He said?

What an ON TIME word 🙌🏼 Thank you Holy Spirit for guiding the hands of my sister Myra this morning. There’s power in the name of Jesus, there’s power in His word. Thank you for reminding us that for every lie that wants to creep up, God has a truth that is already written.
